3 A "foreign limited liability company" is defined in TLLCA, Article 1.02(9), to include a limited liability entity that, "although not . . . characterized as a limited liability company . . . elects to procure a certificate of authority pursuant to Article 7.01 of this act, . . . and . . . is not eligible to become authorized to do business in this state under any other statute." The TLLCA is the only Texas statute that would permit a foreign cemetery corporation to qualify to do business in Texas.
