4 Pursuant to Finance Code, §204.105, a foreign bank is subject to the laws of this state applicable to banks as if it were a state bank, except to the extent Chapter 204 or a rule adopted under that chapter provides otherwise or the context indicates that a law applies only to a bank organized under the laws of a state or the United States. Until rules are adopted to implement Chapter 204, a foreign bank shall comply with all applicable state bank rules, including rules regarding examination, notices, applications, and fees, to the extent not inconsistent with Chapter 204.
