2 Pursuant to Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 344, §§1.001 and 2.016, Finance Code §59.001 registration provisions were replaced by Finance Code Chapter 201, Subchapter B (§§201.101 et seq.). An out-of-state bank must now qualify to do business in Texas in the same manner as any foreign business corporation.
